Mad mutts Acremead kennels 13th of April 2014
the Dynamos kicked of the first comp of the year at the mad mutts show Acremead this comp saw a complete change as we have lost some members and gained others.
In this competition we unveiled our new starter team the "dynamites" as in they might do it they might not. the team dogs were Peppi, Tommy, Fly, Lola, Henry and Roue. all dogs raced their little legs off and had a great time. we didnt get placed but had a lot of fun and treated it like a training session, less stress and tired dogs at the end of the day.
in the afternoon saw the our open team race. the team had alot of changes for one we were over 13 inches after losing our height dog and also not having alot of practice due to rain over the winter period meant that we were all a little rusty. having said that all dogs ran perfectly and we tried our hardest. the open team was joined by new open dog jayde who made her debut and ran very nicely.
the highlight of the whole trip would have to be our communal dinner which was very yummy thank you to cathy, danny and Teresa for the delicious food. we all had tired dogs at the end of the comp and now have a better idea of what to expect for our next comp and what to aim for
